The Argentine maestro hasn't been at his best since his transfer to the French capital after it was expected that he would rule Ligue 1 when he joined the club.
Messi has scored just one goal in 12 games in Ligue 1, but has shown glimpses of his class in the UEFA Champions League, scoring five goals in as many games in the competition to help PSG qualify for the round-of-16.
Seeing his form in Ligue 1, reports from Spain have stated that Messi lacks motivation to play at PSG. He feels isolated at the club.
A report according to PSG Talk via El Confidencial states that Messi is unable to connect with his teammates and appears confused and reluctant.
The Argentine also doesn't fancy the language, weather and distance from family and friends, especially those in Barcelona.
The report adds that Messi is seen most happy when he goes back to Barcelona for a small holiday or when playing with his national team Argentina.
There is no doubt that Messi will give his 100% for the club, especially with the UEFA Champions League round-of-16 this month with PSG facing Real Madrid.
