Argentina and Barcelona talisman, Lionel Messi is widely considered as the greatest player in the history of the sport, with the striker winning numerous professional and individual honours during his career so far, including a record six Ballon d'Or awards.

Messi was at it again in the LaLiga on Wednesday as his brace against Elche gave Barcelona an easy 3-0 win on the night, ensuring that his side still remain in contention for the league title with the Catalan giants sitting two points behind rivals, Real Madrid and five behind table toppers, Atletico Madrid.

The 33-year-old is not only known for his on-field exploits but off-field exploits too and it was seen at full-time when he was seen swapping shirts Elche goalkeeper, Edgar Badia and while every player in the world would want the great man's shirt, the Argentinian shocked even Badia by asking his jersey in return.

This goes to show just how humble Messi is as he does not let the plaudits affect his behaviour, with the superstar known for being a quiet man off the field with the 33-year-old using his money to help a number of charities, while also being involved with UNICEF in the aim of helping underprivileged children.
