Kerala Blasters striker Alvaro Vazquez has offers from India and Major League Soccer clubs, according to reliable sports journalist Marcus Mergulhao.

Vazquez was impressive for Blasters in the recently concluded Indian Super League 2021/22 season, scoring eight goals and assisting two others in 23 appearances for the Kerala-based outfit.

Vazquez is out of contract this summer and has not yet extended his contract with Kerala Blasters. Mergulhao reveals Vazquez has attracted transfer interest from MLS and India, and has already turned down approach from China.

"Alvaro has not signed anywhere. I am told he has offers from India and MLS, and he has turned down China already. Will confirm in a day or two about his exact status," Mergulhao tweeted.

Kerala Blasters could also look to hand Vazquez a new contract, but with other clubs also in the running for his services, it remains to be seen if the ISL season 8 runner-up's offer - if they make or have made one - can convince the Spaniard to snub other proposals.
