Kerala Blasters have signed Harmanjot Khabra on a deal till 2023, the Indian Super League club announced on Thursday.
Khabra is a versatile player capable of playing in a multitude of positions, and the 32-year-old last featured for Bengaluru FC, another ISL outfit.
He has also plied his trade for Chennaiyin FC, East Bengal and Sporting Goa, and is also fourth in the list of players with the most appearances in ISL.
“I am very excited to join Kerala Blasters. The opportunity to play for the passionate Yellow Army aligns with my love and passion for the game. I look forward to donning the KBFC colors with pride and hunger. And I'm very keen to meet my new teammates and start preparing for the journey ahead, ”Khabra said on joining the Kochi-based ISL outfit.
Meanwhile, Kerala Blasters Sporting Director Karolis Skinkys believes Khabra can bring much needed experience to the side.
"Khabra is a player who can bring much needed experience to our team. I believe that his profile was one of the major pieces we were missing. His passion, versatility and leadership will be an immediate positive influence on our team,” Skinkys said.
Meanwhile, Khabra becomes Kerala Blasters' fourth new signing ahead of the next season.
