Juventus chief, Pavel Nedved has confirmed that he has not heard from footballing superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo over a departure in the ongoing summer transfer window, and that he expects the striker to return back to training and be part of their plans going forward.

Ronaldo's future at Turin has been a source of speculation following their poor 2019/20 season and amid reports that they might look to offload the 36-year-old due to his high wages and hence reduce their massive wage bill.

“Cristiano is on holiday. We have no signal from his entourage that he wants to leave. We're waiting for him and he will return around 25 July as scheduled," Nedved said when asked about the topic.

Despite his high wage structure, there has been no doubt that Ronaldo has been brilliant for the Bianconeri in front of goal ever since joining them in the summer of 2018, scoring a staggering 101 goals in just 133 appearances in all competitions.

His brilliance have helped Juventus win two Serie A titles, while he has been named the league's footballer of the year in 2019 and 2020 and it will be interesting to see whether he decides to remain with the Bianconeri come next season.
