Jurgen Klopp reportedly wants to bring Eden Hazard to Liverpool this month as a backup for Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.

Both frontmen were on target during Sunday's 2-2 draw with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, but Klopp will be without his key men as they travel to Cameroon for AFCON this month.

According to Spanish outlet El Nacional, Klopp wants to bring in a cover for the duo, and has suggested a potential loan move for the Real Madrid man.

The report states that Klopp is reportedly a big fan of Hazard and believes he can help the Reds challenge for the Premier League title this season. However, the Liverpool board do not seem keen on the former Chelsea man, and are reluctant to sanction a transfer.

It is added that Klopp has been to "forget" about signing the forward during the winter transfer window for the board is concerned about Belgian international's consistent injury woes.

Hazard has struggled to maintain his fitness since moving to Madrid and has been strongly linked with a return to the Premier League, with both Newcastle and West Ham interested in his services.

Liverpool are currently 12 points off the top of the table, and will have to depend on Roberto Firmino, Diogo Jota, Divock Origi, and Takumi Minamino until Salah and Mane return from their respective international duties.

Liverpool have also been linked with Porto's Luis Diaz, who is reportedly their main attacking target this month.
