Kerala Blasters head coach Ivan Vukomanovic is set to continue as the club's coach next season.
The Serbian joined the famous club last summer on a one-year deal will now gain an extension from the club after certain reported performance based clauses in his contract.
In his latest press conference, Vukomanovic himself spoke about his desire to stay on at the club.
As reported by Khel Now, who cite their source, "Ivan Vukomanovic will continue as Kerala Blasters’ head coach next season. There were certain performance-based clauses in his contract, which have been automatically triggered once they were met.
“Both parties are keen on signing a new deal. There are chances that once this season ends, Kerala Blasters will offer Ivan a new long-term contract."
Blasters managed a 10-game unbeaten run in the Indian Super League for the first time in their history under Ivan and are second in the league table.
They will next face Jamshedpur FC on Thursday, February 10, with both teams having lost just one of their last four games that included three wins each.
