Manchester United goalkeeper, David de Gea has opened up on the return of footballing superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo to the Old Trafford outfit, revealing that it will be a "dream" to have the five-time Ballon d'Or award at the club once again.
United created headlines when it emerged that agreed a deal to bring back Ronaldo from Juventus, with it being reported that the striker has already completed his medical and is in contention to make his second debut at an emotional homecoming against Newcastle United after the international break.
"It's like a dream to have him back, it will be great -- it's already great, you can feel it in the atmosphere. Hopefully he can bring something special to make the team even better," De Gea said when asked about Ronaldo following United's 1-0 win over Wolves on Sunday.
Red Devils manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer too expressed his happiness at getting the legendary figure to return as it would only give their title chances a major boost.
"Of course we need to get the paperwork done and we can get it sorted and we can announce it very soon. And then he is away with Portugal. Ronaldo was not signed to sit on the bench. We will get him back to Manchester with [Portugal teammate] Bruno [Fernandes], and hopefully he will be involved as soon as possible."
Ronaldo will return back to the club where he spent six seasons between 2003 to 2009, winning eight major trophies during that time plus the Ballon d'Or award as the world's best men's player in 2008.
