Team News

Mumbai City FC let go of important players like Hugo Boumous, strikers Bartholomew Ogbeche and Adam le Fondre, who played a major role in their title win last season.

However, they roped in last season's Golden Boot winner Igor Angulo along with Australian midfielder Brad Inman.

Mourtada Fall and Ahmed Jahouh will face their former clubs when they manage the midfield for the Islanders. It will be interesting to see how Des Buckingham makes his coaching debut in the ISL.

FC Goa, meanwhile, look like a settled squad. The Gaurs won their first ever Durand Cup title in pre-season. Juan Ferrando has plenty of positives headinging into this game.

Edu Bedia, their most capped player ever will marshall the attacking midfield. Players like Glan Martins, Brandon Fernandes and Princeton Rebello will be a handful for Mumbai City FC.

On the wings, the presence of Redeem Tlang will support strikers Jorge Ortiz and Airam Cabrera with fruitful deliveries.
