This season saw a lot of new young midfielders expressing their quality on the field in the league.
Keeping that in mind, today we take a look at the three best midfielders who featured in the Indian Super League this season.

1. Adrian Luna - Kerala Blasters FC
The best player of the 2021-22 Indian Super League by far has to be Adrian Luna.
The Uruguayan midfielder came up with 13 goal contributions throughout the campaign.
Apart from just his goalscoring, Luna's pace and ability to stop counter-attacks at source is something which gave Kerala Blasters a major upper hand in big games.
Luna was by far the most complete midfielder in the 2021-22 ISL season.
2. Joao Victor - Hyderabad FC
Hyderabad FC captain Joao Victor had quite an incredible title winning 2021-22 season.
The central-midfielder did not just contribute in winning the ball in the middle of the park, he also came up with five goals and one assist throughout the season, which is an impressive number considering his position.
3. Sahal Abdul Samad - Kerala Blasters
Playing majorly from the right side of midfield throughout the 2021-22 ISL season, Sahal Abdul Samad finally showcased what he's capable of for the Blasters.
Not only that, his goals towards the business end of the tournament laid the pathway to Kerala Blasters' journey to the ISL final.
