The Indian Super League's 2021-22 season came to a close with Hyderabad FC beating Kerala Blasters FC in the final on penalties.

Goalkeepers throughout the season have been pretty impressive to say the least and they do deserve a mention.

3 best goalkeepers of the ISL 2021-22 season:

1. Prabhsukhan Gill - Kerala Blasters

Kerala Blasters lost their goalkeeper Albino Gomes due to an injury early in the season and 20-year-old Prabhsukhan Gill got his big chance that he grabbed with both hands.

Gill showcased some of the most stunning performances throughout the ISL 2021-22 season, playing a crucial role in his team unexpectedly making it to the final of the tournament.

2. Laxmikant Kattimani - Hyderabad FC

The Hyderabad FC custodian was like a beast unleashed in the 2021-22 ISL season.

Kattimani did concede a number of goals this season, his save percentage saw an increase as compared to last season (70.8%).

Not only that, the Nizams have a higher winning ratio whenever Kattimani has started for them between the posts. He was aso the hero of the ISL final for Hyderabad FC in penalty shootouts as they won the title.

3. Amrinder Singh - ATK Mohun Bagan

After an unconvincing start to the 2021-22 Indian Super League season, Amrinder was a totally different player under new manager Juan Ferrando.

The former Mumbai City FC custodian played 22 games (1980 minutes) in the 2021-22 season, conceded 29 goals and made 57 saves with a save percentage of 66.27%.

Add to that the six cleansheets he managed. Singh surely deserves to be in the top three of goalkeepers of the season.
