Javier Hernandez played for ATK Mohun Bagan last season and Odisha FC managed a coup of sorts as they managed to pry him away from their rivals and the attacking midfielder has started the season with a bang by scoring a brace to help them beat Benagaluru FC.

The Spaniard who came through the Real Madrid youth academy has loads of experience in his belt and that would only help Odisha going forward in the season.

2. Vladimir Koman (Chennaiyin FC) - 8.49 rating

The Hungarian who can play both as an attacking midfielder and a winger, is an experienced professional - having represented the Hungarian national squad in the past.

3. Vishal Kaith (Chennaiyin FC) - 8.37 rating

4. Roy Krishna (ATK Mohun Bagan) - 8.29 rating

Roy Krishna has without doubt been the best foreign player in the ISL in the past two-three years as seen by his brilliant performances in front of goal for the club. The 34-year-old has won back-to-back ISL top goalscorer award as well as the Golden Ball award in the 2020/21 season.

He was instrumental in the club winning the 2019/20 title and the onus will be on him to lead them to the title this season.
