Inter Milan Striker Romelu Lukaku Says He 'Loves' Life in Italy Amid Reported Transfer Interest From Man City

Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku says he 'loves' life in Italy amid reported transfer interest from Premier League giants Manchester City.

The Belgium international has been in terrific form for Inter this season and has already scored 23 times for Antonio Conte's men.

He has been crucial for Inter, who sit top of the Serie A table with a four-point lead over city rivals AC Milan and an eight-point lead over defending champions Juventus.

Manchester City have reportedly identified Lukaku as a transfer target as they look to find a long-term replacement for club legend Sergio Aguero, whose contract expires in the summer.

However, he seems to be not planning a return to England as he declared he loves life in Italy during a Q&A session on Twitter. The former Man United, Everton, Chelsea and West Brom attacker was asked [via Mirror], "When are you coming home?", to which he simply responded, "I am home right now".

The Inter attacker was also asked whether he likes living in Italy, to which he replied, "I love it."

Meanwhile, Lukaku will be looking to help Inter win the Serie A title after a long period of dominance by Juventus. He will also be aiming to win the Capocannoniere title, and with 17 league goals this season, he is only behind Cristiano Ronaldo in the goalscoring charts.
