Giorgio Chiellini has dismissed suggestions Cristiano Ronaldo is the problem at Juventus, who have had a turbulent 2020-21 season.
Things have not quite gone to the plan for the Old Lady this season, with the Italian behemoths having already been eliminated from the Champions League, and the Serie A title certainly well beyond their reach.
Ronaldo, as usual, has delivered the goods for Juve, but despite that, the Portuguese striker has come under increasing criticism of late for the Bianconeri's struggles.
Chiellini, however, does not think Juventus' problems are down to Ronaldo as he stated if the no.7 is 'a problem' at the club, he would like to have 'many of them'.
"If Cristiano Ronaldo is a problem, I would like to have many of them," Chiellini told Sky Sport Italia, as quoted by Football Italia. "We must not think about what could have been.
"With the ifs and buts, we lose attention. We must get as high as possible, maybe it will be second place, because Inter are far away, but we are aiming for that."
Meanwhile, Juventus face fourth-placed Atalanta in their next Serie A match, and the Old Lady will be looking to collect all three points from their trip to Bergamo, as they aim to ensure they do not miss out on Champions League qualification next season.
