While there has been no official confirmation of who will succeed Ronald Koeman at FC Barcelona, the favourite for the job Xavi Hernandez is reported to have already started working on his strategy for his squad.
Spanish publication El Nacional claims that Xavi has already prepared his wishlist for the summer transfer window.
The report adds that one of the players in Xavi's list is Manchester United star Paul Pogba. The Frenchman is out of contract next summer, which will make him a free agent in order to join Barcelona.
Another player on Xavi's radar is Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland, who is set to be available for sale at a cut-price in next summer's transfer window.
The third player on Xavi's list is 23-year-old, former La Masia graduate Dani Olmo. The 23-year-old plays for RB Leipzig and has been one of their best players since he arrived at the club.
And finally, the report from Spain outlines Sevilla defender Jules Kounde to be the fourth player Xavi has reportedly outlined for the 2022 summer transfer window.
Whether Barcelona will be able to first sign Xavi and then gather funds for these players is something to look forward to, but one thing is for sure, if rumours are to be believed, Xavi's Barcelona re-build will be one to watch out for in the future.
