Games are coming thick and fast as the holidays draw near with three gameweeks taking place over the next 10 days. You need to think quick and rotate your squad in order to get maximum points during this hectic period.

Brighton v Tottenham has been postponed due to a Covid-19 outbreak in the Spurs' camp, and Leicester have also confirmed some positive tests without their squad. Now might be a good time to play your first Wildcard, if you haven't already.

To help you decide, here are four players to pick for your FPL team for gameweek 16.

Mohamed Salah - £13.1m - Aston Villa

Salah should be a staple in your team if he isn't already. The Liverpool man already has 152 FPL points this term and has 13 goals and 10 assists across 15 Premier League matches this season. Salah is an obvious captain pick this week with over 73.1 percent of managers owning him (at the time of writing). The Egyptian has blanked just once in recent weeks and is expected to be at his best against Aston Villa who have struggled defensively.

Cristiano Ronaldo - £12.3m - Norwich

Ronaldo ranks joint-top for shots (15) and second for shots in the box (13) in the last four gameweeks and looks to be a good pick ahead of United's clash against bottom of the table Norwich. The Portuguese was rested for United's midweek Champions League draw and will be raring to go. Ronaldo has blanked just once in his four away starts for Manchester United this term.

Jamie Vardy - £10.7m - Newcastle

It might be time to bring Vardy into your side. The Foxes' forward has six home goals this season - a league-leading total, and as Leicester host Newcastle this weekend at the King Power Stadium, Vardy will be looking to notch yet another goal at home. The Magpies have kept just one clean sheet in 2021/22 while also struggling to score goals at the end other.

Bukayo Saka - £6.2m - Southampton

The Arsenal youngster is somewhat of a differential pick for this weekend but as the Gunners look set to host Southampton at the Emirates, the winger could prove influential for Mikel Arteta's side who are looking to get back to winning ways. Saka has scored both his goals this season at home and produced a season-high haul of 13 points against Tottenham in gameweek 6. He also scored in Arsenal's previous home match - a 2-0 win over Newcastle.
