Federico Chiesa said he and everyone at Juventus still believe they can win the Serie A after Verona held them to a frustrating 1-1 draw in their recent match.

Juve went ahead through a Cristiano Ronaldo strike in the 49th minute, but Antonin Barak equalised for Verona in the 77th minute to the frustration of the Old Lady.

Andrea Pirlo's side are now 10 points behind league leaders Inter Milan, who have played a game more. Speaking after the match, Chiesa, who assisted Ronaldo's goal in the fixture, vowed Juventus "will keep fighting to the end".

"It’s true we are missing important players, and others that aren’t at their best, but we are Juve and that must not be an alibi. Full stop. Now we have to focus on Tuesday’s game, because we still believe in the Scudetto," Chiesa told DAZN [via Football Italia].

"We have to give credit to Verona, as they pushed to the end and took home a draw. We are angry, because we should’ve held onto our lead, although they took control when the fatigue hit us in the last half-hour.

"Despite that, we are Juventus and we ought to be winning these games. It’s not experience, these are just tiny details we are missing. We will learn from this for the future.

"Nonetheless, I and everyone at Juventus still believe in the Scudetto and will keep fighting to the end."

Meanwhile, Juventus face Spezia in their next match in the Italian top-flight, and they will be hoping to collect all three points and ensure they don't lose further ground to Inter in the title race.
