Igor Angulo scored two in the second-half to cancel out the goals scored by Cleiton Silva and Juanan as FC Goa came back from two goals down to earn a point against Bengaluru FC in the Indian Super League.
Bengaluru started the game between ISL Season 6's two semi-finalists strongly, with both Sunil Chhetri and Ashique Kuruniyan having shots from distance in the early minutes of the match.
Bengaluru took the lead in the 27th minute as Cleiton Silva headed past Nawaz from short distance after James Donachie had got his header clearance wrong.
Despite dominating possession, Goa could not find an equaliser before the half-time whistle, as they went to the break trailing by a goal.
Goa's search for an equaliser continued in the second half, but it was Bengaluru who scored again. Deshorn Brown headed the ball to Erik Partaalu from a long cross into the box, and the Australian headed towards Juanan, who finished neatly from close distance to put Bengaluru ahead by two goals.
FC Goa pulled one back in the 66th minute, as Igor Angulo fired a shot into the bottom corner of the far post to beat Gurpreet Sandu from close distance, after he had been released by a brilliant pass by Alberto Noguera.
The Spanish attacker restored parity just three minutes later, as he met Romario Jesuraj's cross into the box with his chest to score FC Goa's second of the night.
Both teams had opportunities to find a winner, but neither could manage one as they settled for a point each in what was an entertaining game.
