FC Barcelona are reportedly considering Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane as an alternative to Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland, who has been linked with a move to the Catalan outfit in the summer.
Haaland has emerged as one of the most exciting young footballers in the world, and has attracted transfer interest from a number of top European clubs, including Barcelona and Real Madrid, who his father Alf-Inge and father Mino Raiola has already held talks with regarding potential transfer.
While Haaland remains a transfer target for Barcelona, there is so much competition for the Norwegian striker, with many of the Premier League giants also among clubs keen on the 20-year-old.
According to Sport, Barcelona have identified Harry Kane as an alternative to Haaland, with the Spurs striker said to be evaluating trying his luck away from the Premier League.
The England international is one of the best strikers in the world, and rumours have suggested the 27-year-old could be on the move this summer.
Haaland is still Barcelona's top priority, but if they find the Dortmund striker is beyond their reach, they could shift attention to Kane. Meanwhile, Inter Milan star Lautaro Martinez is reportedly another option that the La Liga side are considering if the move for Haaland fails.
