Some Lionel Messi fans have been accused of 'ruining' their legend's final years at FC Barcelona after their insane collapse in this season's La Liga title race.

The Catalan giants were ahead twice in the game against Levante on Tuesday but could not find a win as they were held to a 3-3 draw.

This draw left them on 76 points with two games left, whereas Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid have a game in hand as they are just one point ahead and behind Barcelona respectively.

Messi has literally carried the club into a three way title race this season and he scored the first goal of the game, his 29th goal in La Liga, however, it was too much for him to lead Barcelona to victory, once again.

The Argentine was involved in a historic exit from his childhood club last summer but eventually chose to stay for another season. However, with the current state of Barcelona, it looks like he may well and truly leave them this summer.

Fans on Twitter have already gone ahead and started blaming Barcelona for ruining the final years of Messi's glorious career. Here are some tweets in reaction....

A win for Barcelona would have taken them on top of the La Liga table but they surrendered a two goal lead, before leading by another goal and surrendering that lead too, something which is due credit to Levante.
