Juventus director Fabio Paratici said a game will not change the club's views or strategies as he insisted Cristiano Ronaldo remains part of their future strategy after the Old Lady's shock defeat to Benevento in Serie A.

Adolfo Gaich scored the game's only goal as he intercepted Arthur Melo's attempt to play the ball across his own penalty box, held off Danilo's challenge and fired the ball past Wojciech Szczęsny into the Juventus net.

The defeat leaves the defending the Serie A champions 10 points behind league leaders Inter Milan, having played the same number of games.

Speaking after the match, Paratici insisted this result will not change their strategy for Ronaldo, who they are 'holding on tight'.

"No. We have a project that we started from last season, one game will not change our views or our strategy. This line continues and we are very happy with what we’ve done, so we’ll continue working to improve," the Juve director told Sky Sport Italia [via Football Italia] when asked if this result against Benevento will change the club's future strategy.

He added: "This is Juve, we have Cristiano Ronaldo, the best player in the world, and we’re holding on tight."

Meanwhile, Juventus will face Torino in the Serie A in their next match, which will be played after the international break, on 3rd April.
