Everton star, Richarlison has taken to social media to take a sly dig at fellow rival club, Liverpool following their 3-1 loss to Real Madrid in the quarter-final first leg of the Champions League on Tuesday.
Liverpool are on the brink of elimination from Europe's premier competition at the quarter-final stage after Madrid cruised past Jurgen Klopp's side, courtesy of a brace from Vinicius Jr and a goal from Marco Asensio on the night.
Following the final whistle, Richarlison clearly made his feelings known about the result, with the Brazilian taking to Instagram to post an old picture of him with fellow countryman, Vinicius alongside the eyes emoji.
The post by the striker would have certainly delighted Everton's fan base, considering that the Reds went into the game on the back of an excellent performance against Arsenal in the Premier League last weekend.
Liverpool boss, Jurgen Klopp for his part was not too happy with the performance of his side on the night, revealing that the Reds just did not play good enough football to cause Madrid any problems and that they have to "earn" the right to progress to the semi-final stage.
The Reds are not having the best of times on the pitch this season as they currently sit seventh in the league table, with the Champions League their only realistic hope of ending the campaign with a trophy.
