Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus has heaped praise on his club team-mate Erling Haaland, who he says is an 'absolute machine'.
Haaland, who joined Dortmund in the January of 2020, has emerged as one of the top young talents in the world. The Norwegian, who has been terrific for Dortmund, has already scored a staggering 27 goals for the German side so far this season.
The 20-year-old had bagged a brace against Sevilla in the Champions League round-of-16 first-leg earlier this week. He also put in another brilliant display against Schalke on Saturday, scoring two goals as Dortmund blew Die Knappen away with a 4-0 win.
Haaland has clearly impressed Reus, who said the Norwegian's positive energy on the pitch is pushing all of them. "Erling is an absolute machine,” Reus told Sky Germany [via Goal].
“He's very hungry for goals. You see that in every game. We hope that he continues like this.
"His positive energy on the pitch pushes all of us."
Meanwhile, Dortmund, who sit sixth in the Bundesliga table, face Arminia Bielefeld in their next league fixture. Edin Terzić's side will be hoping to earn all three points from the game against Uwe Neuhaus's team, who launguish at 16th.
