Dortmund are currently placed fifth on the Bundesliga table, four points off Eintracht Frankfurt, who occupy the coveted fourth spot, and according to AS, Haaland has told his agents he wants to leave if the Black and Yellows don't finish in the top four.
The Norwegian's future has been a subject of much discussion, with Real Madrid keen on signing the talented 20-year-old. He was in the spotlight over the weekend for storming off the pitch following his side's 2-2 draw with FC Koln. And while he took to Instagram to ally fears of fans who thought he might be leaving, reports now claim otherwise.
The report further claims that Haaland initially agreed to stay at Dortmund until the end of his contract in 2022, but the club's poor performance and the financial impact of the coronavirus might force the club into selling their most prized asset.
The report adds that Haaland has always "liked the idea of playing at Real Madrid", who believe he is an easier target to acquire than Paris Saint-Germain's Kylian Mbappe. Haaland has 21 domestic goals this campaign and is said to have a release clause of €75million in his current contract.
