Rennes sensation, Eduardo Camavinga has admitted that he is flattered by interest from Real Madrid but has reiterated his commitment to the French club after opting to remain with them for the 2020/21 season.
The 17-year-old who became France's youngest debutant since 1914 during their 4-2 win over Croatia has attracted strong interest from Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, though he has opted to remain with Rennes atleast for the near future.
"Certainly when a big club is interested, it is nice. But I am not getting carried away. I took this choice with my family [to stay at Rennes]. Today we are happy to have made this decision. I just need to focus on football and not think too much about everything else around it.," he said to Telefoot, via Goal.
"Life is very good at the moment. Life is very good at the moment."
Camavinga has emerged as one of the best young prospects in football after starring for Rennes last season, with the star making 36 appearances in all competitions for them as he helped the club qualify for the Champions League.
At 17, the midfielder has a lot of time on his side to make the move to a bigger club and it will be interesting to see where he ends up in the future.
