Spanish journalist Edu Aguirre has sensationally revealed while speaking on El Chiringuito de Jugones that Eden Hazard wants to leave Real Madrid.

Aguirre claims that Hazard is not happy in Madrid and fears for his future with the possible arrival of Kylian Mbappe, which will see him drop down more in the pecking order at Los Blancos.

Hazard has been suffering from back-to-back injuries ever since his arrival at Real Madrid as the Belgian has failed to make any kind of impact at the club.

And as revealed by AS, a return to his former club Chelsea remains high on the list of his priorities this summer.

Hazard's deal at Madrid goes on until June 2024. The Belgian has played just 43 games for Real Madrid in over two years, scoring five and handing out eight assists during this period.

His first season in Spain saw him feature for 1,545 minutes in La Liga and Champions League action. This season the Belgian has only been involved in 896 minutes over 21 games, making his average playing time cost Real Madrid as much as 40,000 euro per minute.

With the domestic season now over, Hazard will shift his attention to featuring with Belgium at the Euro Championships with the Red Devils in Group B, set to face Russia, Finland and Denmark.
