David Beckham reportedly wants to bring four Barcelona legends to Inter Miami over the next two summer transfer windows.
The MLS club owner has "wild dreams" of signing Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Sergio Busquets, and Jordi Alba ahead of the 2023/24 season.
Messi moved to Paris Saint-Germain last year but has failed to replicate his stellar Barca form, and even found himself being booed by the home fans following the club's Champions League elimination by Real Madrid.
Messi signed a two-deal with the Ligue 1 giants, and according to Marca, Beckham is hoping to lure the Argentine to the MLS for the 2023/24 season.
The Englishman is also considering signing Suarez, who is expected to leave Atletico Madrid as a free agent this summer.
The report adds that Beckham is eyeing two more Barca players, Busquets and Alba, and wants to bring them to the US after the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Messi has previously hinted he wouldn't be completely averse to plying his trade in the MLS. The 34-year-old admitted he will reconsider his future in football after the World Cup.
"I don't know what I will do after the World Cup. I am thinking about what is coming. After Qatar, I will have to reassess many things," he admitted.
"It has been a while that I am happy here, since before winning the Copa. I am thankful for all this they make me feel every time I come to Argentina."
Asked about continuing with Argentina after this year's tournament, he replied: "I don't know, the truth is I don't know.
"I think about that is coming, which is close, Ecuador (on Tuesday). The preparation matches in June and September.
"Let's hope these go the best way possible. But for sure after the World Cup many things will change."
