Cristiano Ronaldo was reportedly 'unhappy and frustrated' with his teammates Harry Maguire and Mason Greenwood during Manchester United's 1-0 win over West Ham on Saturday.

The Red Devils moved up to fourth on the Premier League table courtesy Marcus Rashford's injury-time winner. Maguire had been out since suffering an abdominal injury in the victory over Burnley, which was United's final match of 2021, but returned to action and put in an improved performance after struggling throughout the season.

However, according to The Athletic, Maguire received some on-field advice from Ronaldo, who cut an extremely frustrated figure at one point during the game. The England international attempted to find Ronaldo with a first-time header while clearing a West Ham attack.

But Ronaldo was slow to react, and instead of owning up to his mistake, he turned to Maguire and reportedly told him to take the ball on his chest next time.

This isn't the first time the Portuguese has dished out advice to his teammates. A few weeks ago, Ronaldo gave a hard-hitting interview, slamming the younger players at the club, claiming certain individuals are too sensitive to his advice or criticism.

Despite his frustration, Ronaldo took to Instagram to celebrate his team's win against West Ham.

He posted a photo of the team celebrating and captioned it: "One more important win before the Premier League stoppage, one more step towards our goals.

"The road is bumpy and filled with obstacles, but we stand together and working hard to make our supporters proud! Let's go, Devils!"
