Juventus superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo has been slammed for turning his back while standing in a wall during a free-kick which led to Porto scoring a the deciding goal as the Bianconeri were knocked out of the Champions League on Tuesday.

Porto lost the game 3-2 but still managed to progress to the quarter-final on the away goals rule via a 4-4 aggregate result. The deciding moment in the tie came with just five minutes left in the second half of extra time, as Sergio Oliveira's free kick from long range went under Juve's wall and snuck past goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny.

Oliveira's second goal of the night came when Juve's wall disintegrated – with Ronaldo guilty of turning his back and lifting his leg, allowing the ball to go through his legs and his action on the night came in for criticism from the fans and media following the game.

The 36-year-old failed to make a definitive contribution on the night, with the striker seeing his side once again fail to make a dent in Europe despite being signed by the Italian giants to help them win their first Champions League title since 1996.

It will be interesting to see what decision Ronaldo's decides to take regarding his future considering that his place has come under intense speculation in recent times.
