Juventus' superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo's sister, Katia Aveiro has hit back at the fan liasion officer of Porto, Fernando Saul who took aim at the striker following their Champions League exit - calling the 36-year-old a "pig" in an offensive post.
Saul had posted an offensive post aimed at Ronaldo, but also his family, specifically his mother Dolores and also referred had posted an offensive post aimed at Ronaldo, but also his family, specifically his mother Dolores.
"Let’s take revenge on Basel against the Italian thieves. Let’s take revenge on the pig Ronaldo for what he did to O Dragao. What a proud breed, this is Porto. Now I’m waiting for the video of Dolores and the others toothless family members," he wrote on Instagram.
Ronaldo's sister did not take too kindly to the past and responded by revealing, "You are the pig! Clean your mouth to talk about who you will neither reach in this life nor in 1000 more lives."
"We are going to give a little protagonism to an ignorant and clearly disturbed person. Futebol Clube do Porto is not to blame for these wretched people who in no way represent the club (which I respect and where I have great friends and they know it).
"What a pity these comments (disrespecting above all a symbol of our country), but look, despite everything, I support Porto in the Champions League, it does not deserve certain fans and that is why I, with or without teeth, am humble. And Portuguese. I look forward to a day when I meet you face to face. Me, my mum and my brothers and see if you have them … in place and talk to our face."
Saul for his part has apologised for his comments following criticism aimed at him, going on to state that "he was wrong".
"I want to apologise to Ronaldo and his family if they felt that I disrespected them for the publications I made yesterday in heat after a historic night. So I have the humility to admit that I exceeded and to apologise. But I was wrong and I did wrong, because others make mistakes, we should not fall into the same thing. My apologies."
