Portugal icon, Cristiano Ronaldo might have to wait till next Tuesday to make his second full Manchester United debut considering that he might have very little time to prepare for the Red Devils upcoming weekend clash against Newcastle United.

Ronaldo who re-joined United from Juventus earlier in the summer is expected to return to for training at Carrington this week after spending five days in quarantine due to COVID-19 rules and protocols.

The Sun though claims that the 36-year-old will have very little time to prepare for the Newcastle game and may have to settle for a place on the bench come this Saturday. Instead, it has been mooted that the striker can expect a start in United's low key Champions League away trip to Switzerland next Tuesday when they take on Young Boys in Bern.

Ronaldo who recently broke the all-time international goalscoring record during the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, was released from international duty early this week and touched down in Manchester on Thursday.

The strikers arrival has caused huge excitement among the club's fans and former United players as many believe that he could be the difference this season and his goalscoring exploits would no doubt make them the favourites to win a trophy or two this season.
