Footballing superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo joined Juventus' for preseason training on Monday ahead of the 2021-22 campaign, but it is understood that his future at the club still remains unclear despite his arrival.

Ronaldo had arrived at Juventus' Continassa sports complex at 8:30am on Monday, where he was later seen entering the club's J-medical centre where a number of fans were stationed in order to greet him.

Despite this there remains speculation over the strikers future at Turin, considering that he is entering the final year of his contract at the club and that his representatives have been gauging interest from a number of top European clubs as per ESPN.

While Juventus' vice-president, Pavel Nedved recently reiterated that the 36-year-old will remain at the club, the player for his part is yet to address rumours regarding his future and that Ronaldo will sit down with manager, Massimiliano Allegri to discuss the upcoming season.

The Bianconeri are scheduled to play Monza in the Silvio Berlusconi trophy on Saturday before taking on Barcelona in the Joan Gamper Trophy on August 8 at the Camp Nou, a game that has been billed as a showdown between Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

The Portugal skipper has been his usual brilliant self in front of goal for the Bianconeri ever since joining them from Real Madrid in 2018, scoring 101 goals in 133 appearances, leading the club to two Serie A titles and one Coppa Italia honour.
