Footballing superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo's agent, Jorge Mendes arrived in Turin on Wednesday for emergency talks with the five-time Ballon d'Or award winner and the Juventus management over the future of his client.

Ronaldo has been heavily linked with a move away from the Bianconeri, with reports linking him to the likes of Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain. The Portugal icon's current contract with Juventus expires next summer, with it being understood that the club too would be willing to sell the player in order to reduce their massive wage bill.

A number of Italian media outlets claimed that Mendes arrived at Caselle airport in Turin with a private jet on Wednesday afternoon and went straight to Ronaldo’s house. This comes at a moment when it emerged that City are willing to offer Ronaldo a two-year deal worth over £230,000-a-week but do not want to pay Juventus a transfer fee for the player.

The Premier League champions are understood to be the only club interested in the 36-year-old, considering that PSG are concentrating on keeping hold of striker, Kylian Mbappe following news that Real Madrid made a staggering €160million bid for the Frenchman.

It will be interesting to see where the Portugal icon eventually ends up, considering that not many clubs would be able to afford his massive €30m-per-season salary.
