Footballing superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly planning on using his break in Portugal to plot for a transfer away from Manchester United in the summer with the player not very sure that the Red Devils will qualify for the Champions League next season.

As per footballtransfers.com, the 37-year-old is planning to end his second association with the club and look to move to French giants, Paris Saint-Germain in the summer if they fail to finish in the top-four come the end of the season.

Ronaldo has found himself as a source of controversy after he was surprisingly dropped from the squad altogether for United's clash against rivals, Manchester City last weekend with Athletic claiming that his absence surprised some of his team-mates.

Despite being United's highest goalscorer this term with 15 goals, he has come in for criticism for his performances in recent times after managing to find the back of the goal only once in the last 10 games.

Although Ronaldo undoubtedly remains loved by United fans, it might be that he’s a distraction from their focus on building a new-look side and trying more fresh ideas. If the Portugal international does join PSG, it would be truly thrilling to see him alongside his long-time rival, Lionel Messi.
