Cristiano Ronaldo is prioritising a return to Manchester United this summer, according to a report.

Ronaldo's future at Juventus beyond this summer remains uncertain, and the Portuguese international has been linked with a move away from the Italian side.

Man United and Paris Saint-Germain are mooted as the potential destinations for the 36-year-old should he leave the Serie A giants this summer.

And, according to Cadena SER, Massimiliano Allegri, who has returned to Juventus and replaced Andrea Pirlo as the manager, does not want Ronaldo.

The Spanish publication add Ronaldo does not have any offers on the table at the moment, with his salary cited as the reason for it. The 36-year-old earns a staggering €31m per year at Juventus, and no sides are likely to match that figure, meaning he will likely need to lower his wage demands should he seek a move away from the Old Lady.

Cadena SER also claim a return to Man United, the club he spent six seasons at, is Ronaldo's priority today. Some reports have suggested the Red Devils are also interested in Ronaldo, with AS even claiming last week that the Premier League side have told the Portuguese superstar they are keen on re-signing him.

Meanwhile, despite enduring a disappointing 2020-21 campaign with Juventus, Ronaldo finished the the season as Serie A top scorer with 29 goals. The five-time Ballon d'Or winner also scored seven goals across other competitions, taking his overall tally to 36.
