Cristiano Ronaldo took to social media to post a cryptic message amid rumours that he could leave Juventus this summer.
Ronaldo has been linked with a move away from the Serie A giants and with a return to former clubs Manchester United and Real Madrid. And the Portugal international posted a picture on Instagram with the caption "Decision Day".
The 35-year-old is currently enjoying time off after Portugal's Euro 2020 campaign, where he won the Golden Boot after scoring five goals and providing one assist in only four games before his side were knocked out by Belgium in the round of 16.
The striker has been rumoured to leave Juventus following a disappointing season that saw them fail to win the Serie A title for the first time in 10 years, and were knocked out of the Champions League last-16 by Porto.
Juventus are keen to tie him down to a new deal as he enters the final 12 months of his contract, but Ronaldo is reportedly keen to return to Sporting Libson, where he played for their academy and went on to become the player he is today.
Speaking earlier this month, Bianconeri defender Danilo said: "Having him in the team is important for us because he brings an avalanche of goals, and besides, he’s a dear friend, we’ve known each other since Real Madrid. He’ll still be with us next season."
Sporting director Federico Cherubini added: "We haven't had any indication on the part of Cristiano Ronaldo [that he wants to leave]. We don't need to talk about a transfer and Juventus do not want to sell him. We're talking about a player who scored 36 goals in 44 games last season. We're very happy that Ronaldo will be with the squad after his holiday."
