Juventus hitman Cristiano Ronaldo skipped his team's morning training on Monday in order to visit the Ferrari factory in Maranello in Italy with Andrea Agnelli and John Elkann.

Ronaldo was scheduled to be involved in a recovery session if he would have taken part in yesterday's training session as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport.

However, the Portuguese maestro did not turn up at the training ground after their defeat against AC Milan in Serie A.

John Elkann, CEO and Chairman of Exor and Agnelli reportedly planned the visit along with Ronaldo and Football Italia quote Calciomercato in revealing that Ronaldo even bought a Ferrari on his visit to the factory.

Juventus currently find themselves in an intense battle to make it into Serie A's top four as they sit one point off fourth placed SSC Napoli.

As it stands, Ronaldo and co. will not qualify for the UEFA Champions League for the 2021-22 season.

Ronaldo's contract with Juventus expires in June 2022, but according to multiple sources, he will most definitely leave Turin if his team fails to make it to Europe's most elite club competition for the 2021-22 season.

The Portuguese maestro has scored 27 goals in 31 games for Juventus in the Serie A this season. Ronaldo has overall managed 34 goals in 41 games across all competitions this season.
