Portugal icon, Cristiano Ronaldo is widely considered to be one of the greatest footballers in the history of the sport, with the striker creating/breaking a number of records during his career so far.
Ronaldo has been without doubt the greatest player in Champions League history as he has not only won five trophies but is also the competition's goal scorer with 136 goals and appearance maker with 178 games to his name.
While the numbers put up by the 36-year-old during his career is staggering, what is even more mindboggling is that the Manchester United star has so far been on the winning side 114 times in the competition.
In fact, Ronaldo has now won more games in the Champions League than the likes of some great European clubs in Juventus (107), Chelsea (91), Porto (90), Arsenal (83) and AC Milan (82) since the competition was rebranded in the 1992/93 season.
Ronaldo has reiterated that he aims to play until his 40s and looking at his numbers in front of goal, he will look to add to the records he already holds. It will be interesting to see the numbers the 36-year-old ends with by the time he decides to hang up his boots.
