Manchester United left-back, Luke Shaw has opened up on the arrival of Portugal icon, Cristiano Ronaldo - revealing that the striker has already had a positive effect on the mentality in the dressing room.
United created headlines when they announced that their former hero would be returning to Old Trafford in the summer, and the 36-year-old has already had a major impact on the field, scoring five goals in six appearances so far.
While the Red Devila have had a mixed start to the season, losing to Young Boys in the Champions League, Aston Villa in the Premier League and West Ham United in the Carabao Cup, Shaw insists Ronaldo's presence has been a positive one.
"You know the star he is, what he has been doing over a number of years, it is just unbelievable to be in a dressing room with him. You see the way he conducts himself, how professional he is. It's clear to me why he has been at the top for so many years," he told BBC Radio 5 Live.
"His mentality is second to none. I think he has really improved that in and around the changing room."
Ronaldo's arrival though has led to increase pressure on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to win trophies at the club and it will be interesting to see where they end up come the end of the season.
