Fortuna Dusseldorf officially responded to Mino Raiola's comments that his client, Matthijs De Ligt, would never join them for obvious reasons.
Raiola spoke about Di Ligt's future earlier this week, hinting that it is possibly time for a move away from Juventus.
He told NOS when asked about a potential 'next step': “I think we all know which clubs to mention here, and with all due respect, not clubs like Fortuna Dusseldorf. We will see this summer. Premier League? It can be Barca too, or Real Madrid or PSG."
Fortuna were relegated from the Bundesliga last season and are currently 13th in 2. Bundesliga. But the club decided to have some fun with Raiola's comments, and took to social media to respond to the "super agent".
The club wrote on Twitter: "So no Fortuna for De Ligt, but ...after all, Mino knows us."
Di Ligt has won the Serie A and Coppa Italia since joining Juventus, but he is still to reach the heights he did while at Ajax. Despite making nearly 100 appearances for the Biacconari, the 22-year-old is still to establish himself as a first-choice center-back, and has had to share game-time with Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini.
