The final round of group stage fixtures of the 2021/22 Champions League is upon us with a number of top clubs already progressed to the knockout stage, while some are still in the hunt for a chance to move to the next round.
Here, we take a look at things to look forward too in Matchday 6.
1. Pep will look to tinker his City side
Manchester City top Group A with 12 points and go into their final game having already qualified for the knockout stage, with the Cityzens showing just why they are considered the favourites thanks to some brilliant displays in the competition so far.
City are unbeaten in their last 14 games against German opposition and having already qualified, Pep Guardiola will look to tinker with his side, and give his second string side a chance to impress on the night.
A second string City side too consist of some brilliant players and it will be interesting to see how they perform against RB Leipzig on the night.
2. Inter will look to shock Real Madrid
Both Real Madrid and Inter Milan have qualified for the next round, but the Italian side will look to make a statement and break their hoodoo against Spanish opposition - having not beaten a side from Spain since October 2004.
The Los Blancos have enjoyed a mini resurgence under Carlo Ancelotti this season and they will want to end their campaign on the best possible not as a loss to Inter will mean that they will finish second in Group D.
3. Must win game for Milan against Liverpool
AC Milan go into their clash against Liverpool needing to win in order to qualify and hope that Porto lose to Atletico Madrid in their game. The Italians who four points to their name will not have an easy time of it though as they face Liverpool, who have been brilliant in the competition so far - having won each of the five games they have played so far.
Milan will need all of their big guns to fire and it will be interesting to see if they can get a positive result, considering that Jurgen Klopp might look to rest his important players for bigger challenges to come in the future.
