Players involved in pre-season

Chelsea will be without quite a few main players for the pre-season ahead of their preparations for the new Premier League season.

Christian Pulisic has been involved in pre-season action already alongside players like Tammy Abraham, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Hakim Ziyech.

Good news for Chelsea fans is that a lot of loaned out players from last season are also being tried out by Tuchel, who joined the club in January.

This means that players like Conor Gallagher, Baba Rahman, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Danny Drinkwater, Malang Sarr, Davide Zappacosta and some others will surely get a chance to impress Tuchel and gain their entry into the first-team squad next season.

Once the pre-season is done and dusted on August 5th, the Blues will begin rigourous training with their full first squad including key players returning from holiday as Tuchel aims to target the Premier League crown for the 2021-22 season.

The Blues kick off their campaign against Crystal Palace on August 14 in the Premier League.
