Haaland has been linked with a move to a number of top European clubs, including City, Manchester United, Liverpool, and Real Madrid, but Chelsea look set to break their club record with a bid for Haaland and Hakimi.
According to Goal, Tuchel's side have contacted Hakimi's agent, Alejandro Camano, over a potential deal ahead of next season. The report claims that the Blues are reportedly willing to pay £56m for the defender, but Inter, who are dealing with financial difficulties, are thought to value him closer to £70m.
Hakimi has also been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain, however, Camano played down those links, but admitted that the Moroccan's future is in doubt. He said: “There is no negotiation underway with PSG, at the moment there is nothing. He is fine with Inter. Am I optimistic about him remaining at the club? This is difficult to say.”
Haaland and Hakimi played together at Dortmund before the latter left for Inter, and the 28-year-old was full of praises for his former team-mate. “When you have an attacker like him, a goalscorer who scores a lot, who lives for that, it helps enormously,” said the Milan defender in an interview with Tele Foot.
"We hope that he will continue to score for a long time like that. It is good for the team and he wants to finish as top scorer in the competition (Champions League)."
