Paris Saint-Germain were held to a 1-1 draw by Club Brugge in their opening Group A fixture of the Champions League 2021/22 season.
The French behemoths, who broke the deadlock on 15 minutes, were the second best side on the pitch for most spells in the game as Club Brugge, who restored parity on 27 minutes, earned a point they more than deserved.
Meanwhile, in the group's other game, Man City thrashed RB Leipzig 6-3 in a goal fest as Pep Guardiola's side got their Champions League campaign off to a winning start.
Meanwhile, in Group D, a 89th minute goal from Rodrygo helped Real Madrid take home all three points as they beat Inter Milan 1-0, while Sheriff defeated Shakhtar Donetsk 2-0.
In Group C, Borussia Dortmund registered a 2-1 win over Beşiktaş, with Jude Bellingham and Erling Haaland the goalscorers for the German side, while Ajax trounced Sporting 5-1, with Sebastien Haller scoring four goals on the night.
In Group B, Liverpool scripted a comeback win at Anfield, defeating AC Milan 3-2. The Reds had taken the lead through a Fikayo Tomori own goal in the 9th minute before two goals on the stroke of half-time gave Milan the lead. But, second half goals from Mohamed Salah - in the 48th minute - and Jordan Henderson - in the 69th minute - sealed victory for Jurgen Klopp's side. In the group's other game, defending La Liga champions Atletico Madrid and Porto played out a goalless draw.
