Manchester City will look to end their UEFA Champions League quarter-final hoodoo when they take on German giants Borussia Dortmund late on Tuesday night (Wednesday early morning 00:30 IST).

Jadon Sancho is out injured for this clash and will be a big miss for Dortmund. City possess a fully fit squad.

Here are the 5 players who we believe could impact this clash tonight.

1. Erling Haaland

Haaland is currently the top scorer in this season's Champions League, on 10 goals, which is four more than the next best.

The young striker is in the form of his life and despite the prospect of facing the rock sold defence of Manchester City, there is no doubt he will cause them big problems on the night.

The Norwegian forward has incredible physical presence, something which City defenders might not have faced up till now this season. Ruben Dias and co. will have their hands full on Tuesday night.

2. Kevin De Bruyne

There is no doubt that everything great about Pep Guardiola's Manchester City side flows through star midfielder Kevin De Bruyne.

On his day, the Belgian maestro is the best in the world and there's nothing opposition teams can do to deal with that.

If De Bruyne is in full flow, it could be a long 90 minutes for Borussia Dortmund.

3. Rodri

A midfield enforcer in the true sense, Rodri has been a revelation for Manchester City since he arrived at the club.

The Spanish midfielder has been a wall in midfield for Guardiola's side and has proved to be crucial in them almost running away with the Premier League title this season.

Against Dortmund, he will be extremely crucial as the German side's midfield has pace and trickery in abundance.

4. Ruben Dias

The best defender in Europe this season without a shadow of doubt has been Ruben Dias.

The Portuguese centre-back has instantly proved to be the final piece of Guardiola's defensive puzzle over the years.

If he is in good form, there is no chance for Dortmund.

5. Marco Reus

The leader of the pack at Borussia Dortmund, Marco Reus will be raring to go for the challenge against Manchester City.

Reus has never backed out of a tough fight and expect him to turn it up against the Blues when both sides take the field at the Etihad Stadium.
