Bundesliga holders Bayern Munich are ready to revive their interest in Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi, according to Daily Mail. The German giants, who came close to signing Odoi last summer, are increasingly hopeful that Chelsea will listen to offers for the 19-year-old this time around.
Chelsea have been splurging on the transfer market this summer and have already brought on board the likes of Kai Havertz, Hakim Ziyech, Timo Werner to bolster their attack. As a result, the competition for places in the squad is likely to intensify, and that could result in Odoi spending more time on the benches than he would be fancying.
Odoi knows he needs regular playing time - something which he may not be able to get at Chelsea in the current scenario - to regain his place in the English squad before the Euro Championships next year.
Bayern could capitalise on the situation and they are looking to launch an effort to lure the English youngster to Germany. However, the Bavarians are not the only club Odoi has been linked with, with reports suggesting Juventus are monitoring the Chelsea academy graduate's situation closely.
However, it remains to be seen whether Chelsea would welcome offers for the winger and whether Odoi would be open to a move to Germany.
