LaLiga giants, Barcelona and Real Madrid are reportedly keen to sign Bruno Fernandes from Manchester United in the summer, with the Sport claiming that the midfielder is open to a move after being "fed up" with the internal conflicts within the club.
Fernandes who arrived only in January of 2020, has quickly established himself as the best player at Old Trafford, with his performances and attitude on the field ensuring that he has become a fan favourite.
The Portugal midfielder was linked with clubs from Spain during his time at Sporting Lisbon and now the rumours have surfaced once again, with the report going on to state that the 26-year-old is willing to leave if United do not meet their objectives for the season.
However, it is understood that a move away from United is not likely to happen as Fernandes recently reiterated his commitment to the club and that even if he was on the market, the Red Devils would demand a very high transfer fee.
Another issue that needs to be looked at is that Barcelona are currently struggling financially, while Madrid's lack of spending during the summer goes to show that they too might not be able to afford the player, especially at this time where the economy is experiencing a financial strain due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Fernandes was the major reason why United qualified for the Champions League this season, with the midfielder netting a staggering 18 goals in just 33 appearances for the club so far.
