Barcelona are reportedly preparing to make a swoop for Manchester City striker, Sergio Aguero on a free transfer with the Sun claiming that the Catalan giants are looking to take advantage of the Premier League's side uncertainty in offering the Argentinian a new contract.
Aguero's current contract with the Manchester side is set to expire at the end of this season, with the management yet offer him a new deal. The player for his part is understood to be keen to remain with the club and see out the remainder of his club with him.
The 32-year-old's current situation means that he is free to talk to foreign clubs over a potential free transfer in the summer and now Barcelona are eyeing up a move for the striker, as they look to bring him back to Spain.
Paris Saint-Germain are also said to be interested with new manager, Mauricio Pochettino looking to rebuild the squad ahead of his first full campaign next summer, though it currently looks unlikely that he will make a move to France.
One of City's greatest ever players, Aguero is the club's all-time highest goalscorer, scoring 256 goals in just 379 appearances in all competitions and has played a key role in them winning four Premier League titles, one FA Cup and five League Cup honours.
