Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo gave his thoughts on the rumours surrounding Antoine Griezmann and Saul Niguez, and admitted that "everything is possible".
With Barcelona looking to offload players and reduce their wage bill, Griezmann has been touted with a possible return to Atletico as Saul goes the other way. However, Cerezo claimed he is unaware of any discussion regarding a swap deal.
He told reporters: "I have no idea, they haven't told me anything, I don't know anything. I do not know how the negotiations are, not even if there are any, but there is time left for you to know what is going to happen. In the world of football everything is possible but in the Griezmann's case I have no idea, nor have I asked."
Liverpool and Manchester United have also been linked with a move for Saul, but Cerezo insisted he is in the dark about that too. He added: "A lot of people will ask about all the players, as always, but in this case I don't know if Liverpool has acted. We do have a technical service that deals with this very well and will be aware of everything."
Last week, the Daily Mail reported that Barcelona were eyeing Niguez in a potential swap deal that would see Griezmann returning to the Wanda Metropolitano. However, AS claimed yesterday that Premier League rivals, United and Liverpool, could make a swoop for the 26-year-old if talks with Barca fall through.
