Atletico Madrid are interested in signing Juventus star Paulo Dybala, and the newly crowned La Liga champions are working to sign him next season, according to Cadena SER.

Dybala's current contract with Juventus is only until next year, and the Argentine attacker and the Old Lady have yet to reach an agreement over renewing it.

Should an agreement be not struck in the upcoming months, Juventus risk losing the highly-rated star on a free transfer next summer.

Juventus could look to cash in on Dybala, who will not be short of suitors, this summer. According to Cadena SER, the Serie A giants want to get the 27-year-old off their wage bill, and are considering a swap deal with Atletico Madrid.

The Spanish outlet add Juve are open to Dybala-Angel Correa swap deal, but Diego Simeone is not interested in that. They also report a swap deal involving Dybala and Alvaro Morata, who plays for the Italian side on loan from the La Liga outfit, has not been considered at the moment.

Meanwhile, Dybala has previously been linked with a move to Manchester United, and 90min had, in December 2020, reported the Argentine's representatives had reached out to the Premier League's big six to alert them to the possibility of a move for the playmaker in 2021.
